Hey Everyone, my good friend Emad Armoush is releasing his new album on Afterday Audio! Check it out! Masterfully produced by Jesse Zubot, with great liner notes by Alexander Vrty. This album is stretching the limits of what we have come to expect from solo ventures. Emad pushes the envelope, bends genres to his multifaceted artistry. It's a wonderful follow up to his previous album "Distilled Extractions" (aa2401) which was released on Afterday Audio in 2014.

Intimate though it is, Reminiscing Onwards is also a big record. Searching for a summation, I’m reminded of the poet Walt Whitman’s famous self-description: "I am large, I contain multitudes.” Emad Armoush’s music can be fairly said to contain universes, some self-created, some assembled from fragments and residue, some built of longing and others of hope. And all of the largeness here—and the largesse, too, for this is generous music—is animated by heart. _ Alexander Varty
